Graduates of CEE Studies should be ready to work in the cultural departments of public administration (local and governmental), national and international institutions and organizations (with particular emphasis of Central-Eastern Europe countries), cultural establishments (museums, archives, local cultural establishments), publishing houses and mass media, as well as in education (after getting appropriately qualified).
We can also guarantee:
- knowledge and skills of a professional historian, anthropologist and political scientists, who has had the basic training in historical methods of auxiliary sciences of history, local and environmental history, oral tradition, the long duration concept and modern and post modern humanistic theories
- in-depth training in team work (including team leaderships), project planning and proposal writing, formal and informal presentation of ideas and research results (including IT), as well as the ability to write publication quality short professional essays and contributions
- basic skills in identifying various sources in local (also historical) languages such as Latin, Russian, Polish, and Yiddish.
- high knowledge of English and second modern language
